We welcome our new engineer Théo PETITJEAN in the LIFE-ADVICLIM project. After a first experience as environmental advisor for winegrowers in the Chablis region, he joined the team since the 16thof August 2016 on the Bordeaux pilot site (Saint Emilion and Pomerol). His main activities are included in the B2 action. They deal with the mitigation of cultural practices on GHG mitigation. Théo will carry out surveys on the annual technical operations and the carbon footprint of leading wine estates. Following, these references will be integrated in the multi-agent adaptation model to improve the mitigation scenarios and offer solutions for cultural practicesinvolving GHG mitigation according to climate change scenarios. He is also involved in the management of 90 temperature sensors and in monitoring phenological stages and grape maturation dynamics to study microclimate variability and its effect on vine development in this area in the context of climate change.
